The aim of our project is to create a biodiverse, Indigenous garden full of season-identifier and bush use plants to enhance our yarning circle connections. The children will be involved in working with our First Nations Community, researching season-identifying plant species, and designing, planting, caring for and learning in the garden. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include our students and community connecting deeply with Country, developing knowledge of Wurundjeri seasons and custodianship through hands on learning.
