Our Sensory Immersion Space

The aim of our project is to build a sensory garden to promote positive wellbeing and foster sustained relationships with local indigenous people. The children will be involved in selecting the plants, designing the space, researching how sensory gardens can be beneficial for the wider community. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include revitalising a space, developing knowledge of local plant species, strengthening community ties and creating a living classroom.
