The aim of our project is to equip students with skills of sustainable practices. They’ll participate in activities that will create a more sustainable college environment. The children will be involved in planting vegetables, fruits and flowers to attract bees and native butterflies. The children will also propagate seedlings and run worm farms and compost. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include increasing children’s understanding of food production, fostering creativity and inquiry through investigations that link to ACARA and supporting biodiversity in the community.
