Bindi Kindi ‘Bindi Bindi’ Garden

The aim of our project is to create a Bindi Bindi (Butterfly) garden for our Bindi kindi children to enjoy and learn about together. The children will be involved in researching Bindi Bindi (butterflies) from Whadjuk Noongar Boodja (Country), designing, planting and caring for both the flora and fauna. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include understanding lifecycles and specific animal and plant needs, contributing to a collaborative, hands-on project, and becoming caretakers of the environment.
