Beneficial Garden

The aim of our project is to extend our Kitchen Garden to include a beneficial garden for younger students. The children will be involved in choosing the seeds and flowers, preparing the soil, planting the seeds, watering the plants, and maintaining the garden. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include attracting beneficial predators to control pests in the existing Kitchen Garden and learning about lifecycles of flowering plants with hands-on experience.
