The aim of our project is to build sustainable, edible gardens to support Prep students learning and increase wider school community engagement. The children will be involved in design of garden and will learn to grow, care for, harvest produce; replant seeds, tend to worm farms and composters. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include learning about plant life cycles, local First Nations use of produce and sustainability, enhancing habitats of animals and insects.
