The aim of our project is to improve our current garden area by introducing Bush Tucker plants to enhance Indigenous perspective on caring for and connection to country. The children will be involved in actively caring for country via designing to implementation and maintenance providing hands-on experience and building appreciation of Indigenous bush foods. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include providing opportunity to imbed Indigenous cultural perspectives, understanding caring for and connecting with country, growing, picking, and tasting Indigenous bush foods.
