The aim of our project is to teach students about native plants indigenous to the area and the importance of creating habitat corridors for local animals. The children will be involved in planting of tubestock, GPS logging using ArcGIS FieldMaps, growth monitoring and bird surveys. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include better understanding of the relationship between local fauna and native plants, and the application of technology in conservation work.
