Muddy Hands Make Meals

The aim of our project is to build a wicking bed for growing herbs and vegetables in an environment with adverse conditions. The children will be involved in designing and constructing the beds, selecting plants, planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and enjoying the end results! The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include observing and engaging with a productive food garden in an area with unique environmental challenges.
