Merenj From Noongar Boodja – Food From Noongar Land

The aim of our project is to immerse students into embracing First Nations cultures and relationships with the local land. The children will be involved in selecting traditional bush tucker plants, planting them, caring for them and cooking with them. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include increasing student’s understanding of First Nations traditions and their relationships with the land.
