Learning About Indigenous Plants And Perspectives Through The Noongar Seasons.

The aim of our project is to support the children’s understanding of each of the six Indigenous (Noongar) seasons. The children will be involved in mapping a plan related to the seasons, planting natives and have the opportunity to work with an Indigenous teacher. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include understanding indigenous perspectives, plants to reflect the changes in the seasons, develop a sense of responsibility and promote a healthy ecosystem.
