The aim of our project is to create a safe place for our Indigenous students to speak, listen, and share stories of culture. The children will be involved in the planting of our Yarning Circle Indigenous native garden together with our Principal, Marrung Leader, and KESO. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include developing respect for First Nations peoples and understanding the steps involved in creating a successful garden space for everyone.
