Increasing Biodiversity In A Southern Otways School

The aim of our project is to learn about local ecosystems and create habitat for animals by planting local species. The children will be involved in learning about local plant species, propagating local plants and planting in their school garden. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include understanding how to create habitat and why planting a diversity of native species is important and enjoying being present in nature.
