‘”Gurnang” Bush Tucker Garden

The aim of our project is to promote Indigenous food culture by cultivating a sustainable bush tucker garden for our school community. The children will be involved in actively participating in all stages of the bush tucker garden project, from planning and planting to harvesting and cooking. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include the bush tucker garden providing environmental benefits and cultural learning opportunities, fostering a deeper connection to land and community.
