Edible Indigenous Plants

The aim of our project is to create an Indigenous plant garden comprised of edible plants for use in our kitchen. The children will be involved in researching different edible Indigenous plants and then constructing a garden with the selected plants. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include teaching students about the vast array of edible Indigenous plants, and how to grow and harvest them for use in cooking.
