Creating An Indigenous Food Garden

The aim of our project is to create an Indigenous food garden that educates and promotes local Indigenous foods. The children will be involved in researching local Indigenous plants, selecting, designing and caring for the garden. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include learning the names of the local native plants and the Indigenous seasons in which they grow developing an increased connection to Indigenous culture.
