Bush Tucker Garden

The aim of our project is to engage the students and community through a physical experience and educate them about the Gumbaynggirr area and the native plants. The children will be involved in the design, invitations to Elders and the community to share ideas and help, purchasing plants and creating the garden. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include students engaging and learning more about the Gumbaynggirr Peoples traditional uses of native plants and for continued use in learning activities.
