Bush Tucker And Yarning Circle

The aim of our project is to increase our knowledge of Traditional Owners; learning about animals and plants including bush tucker in the environment. The children will be involved in exploring First Nations and researching bush tucker plants; being involved in planting and caring for plants working alongside local Elders. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include increased knowledge of bush tucker plants and significance to First Nations culture, caring for plants in curriculum, using sustainable practices.
