The aim of our project is to create a productive vegetable growing space to educate students on all aspects of sustainable living as well as produce high quality food products to enter in the local show. The children will be involved in all aspects of designing the new garden beds, creating, growing, watering and producing, high quality produce to exhibit as part of the community at the local agricultural shows. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include: sustainable living practices for all students, as well as identifying recycling opportunities and abilities to reduce, reuse and recycle in their own environments, and improve connections with the local community.
