Revitalising Indigenous Garden

The aim of our project is to restore the indigenous vegetation area of our school grounds, to provide a space for education on native plants and bush tucker. The children will be involved in growing native vegetation from seed and seedling, creating a pathway through the space, as well as investigating and learning about native plant life, including how to plant, grow, water and look after it. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include: learning about the life cycle of plants, how to plan and execute a project, how to care for nature as well as the Indigenous connection to land and country.
