The aim of our project is to enhance our existing vegetable garden with a wide range of Bush Tucker plants; allowing students to participate in growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing of produce. The children will be involved in the redevelopment of the garden including bed preparation and renovation, plant selection, planting and maintenance. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include: students learning about Indigenous and native food plants through hands on learning, and their role in improving biodiversity and environmental outcomes.
