Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

The aim of our project is to improve recycling practices and reduce landfill waste by adopting the recommendations from a recent school waste audit. The children will be involved in researching, implementing, and managing a whole school waste initiative by setting up recycling systems for paper, plastics and glass, and food scraps for composting and chickens. Students will be hands-on throughout the project. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include: our students learning about sustainable environmental waste initiatives while educating the wider school community on best waste practices.
