Pollinator’s Paradise

The aim of our project is to create a paradise for a variety of pollinators consisting of native flora local to our area. This will enable our children to fully engage and witness these remarkable little creatures in action as they help assist with the pollination of our plants. The children will be involved in all aspects of the project. This includes contributing their ideas and suggestions in regards to the research, design and overall construction of the project plus the ongoing care and maintenance of the garden. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include: the opportunity for our children to connect with their natural world though hands-on experiences whilst learning about the important role our pollinators play in our ecosystems
