Bush Tucker Garden

The aim of our project is to introduce native Bush Tucker plants to embed Indigenous perspectives into everyday learning. The children will be involved in the project from start to finish. This includes design of the garden, planting, growing and harvesting. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include: students will learn about foods the First Nations people used to survive for thousands of years, and how they cared for the environment.
