The aim of our project is to create a calming, sensory place for children to play and learn to care for their environment. The children will be involved in helping to design the space, and plant the sensory and native plants, and care for the sensory garden. Children will learn how planting certain native bush tucker plants, and sensory plants will create a diverse habitat for insects, native bees and a calm place for children to enjoy from K-6, including children from our support classes and children who have wellbeing and behaviour needs.
