Fruit and Vegetable Project

The aim of our project is to model sustainable practices to our students and community that they can adopt in their own homes by growing a variety of fruit and vegetables. Currently the grade 3-6 students have planned and budgeted the project but, if successful the whole school would be involved. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include hands on learning and experience of planning, planting, maintaining, caring for and harvesting fresh, wholesome produce.
