Appin Park Bees & Trees Please!

The aim of our project is to improve our school environment, provide a platform of positive education for students who have little or no opportunities to learn about the environment in which they live. The children will be involved in the regeneration of native species, construction of native bee habitats, building a sustainable vegetable garden and recycle green waste into compost utilizing worm farms. The expected (environmental and educational) outcomes of the project include the regeneration of native tree habitat and species, sustainable vegetable production and recycling of green waste produced at school/home through hands on learning.
