Reducing Our Ecological Footprint Through Waste Reduction

The aim of this project is to reduce the amount of waste our school produces and to sort our waste correctly to minimise our waste to landfill. We will introduce different bins into each learning area so that students and staff can sort their rubbish correctly. The Upper Primary students will be responsible for emptying these bins each week into the correct council bins. Students will be promoting and educating the community about ‘nude food’ as the preferred method for bringing lunch and snacks to our school.
