By creating our yarning circle and bush tucker garden, we created an engaging space for our students to sit, explore, relax, learn and celebrate our Indigenous cultures. The yarning circle and bush tucker garden has provided a natural space for birds and animals to eat and rest as well as a beautiful environment for the children to learn about lifecycles of plants, Indigenous cultures, and how to use bush tucker plants. The children will be able to continually learn about sustainability and how to care for the environment.
