The project goal was to foster the enthusiasm and interest of children attending our childcare centre for the natural environment. The installation and care of a worm farm and a new compost bin generated curiosity and interest in the natural environment among children at an inner city childcare centre. They now have a better understanding of the cycle of nature and interconnections between flora, fauna and human activity.
