Burrumbuttock Bush Tucker Garden

The goal of this project was for our students to develop an understanding of sustainability and the Aboriginal culture. This was achieved as the students grew and maintained a bush tucker garden, then harvested and then prepared meals with the bush tucker ingredients, returning the scraps to our school worm farm. Students researched and created an information report on a native plant, describing how it was used by the Aboriginal people. This report was then posted online and linked to a QR code allowing people to scan the QR code labelling the plant, and discover further information about the plant.
